I'm not sure if right now you can draw any useful conclusions from the VSE mining index. The whole exchange is in a slump because of shady dealings and a generally lousy reputation.

TSE mining index might be more reliable.

Probably not yet. Even the long terms bulls that I know and talk to are not bullish near term. That part of the reason I am yapping. Not much company.
Same must be true in the shares. In many of the juniors the portfolio managers are selling on rallies because they can get some decent size off when guys like me buy.
I still think uptown and big is the coming cry. If that is so,all of a sudden there might not be anything for sale and the juniors will fly.
My thoughts anyway,
