All too true. This character had the spread set so high that several times trading stopped for long periods. No one willing to buy at all at the prices he was asking. I had a cover buy in and saw what was happening (I had split the bid/ask) and cancelled my buy. Knew the price had to go down. Sure enough a big surge hit when he finally gave up and dropped the bid/ask. Several k of shares traded and he froze it up again.
I ended up not covering. That is alright, I picked up 3/8 on the day.
