Dick, Thanks for the help! Is there an old saying about the first stocks that reach new highs after a 20% correction? Along the lines you have suggested, I ran a scan looking for stocks that had been "hurt the least" a week or so ago and forgot to revisit them. I had wondered if they might be the most likely to succeed - made sense to me. Then I thought another group might be those "hurt the most" but I think this group might be more dicey.. In your trading system are you using a system similar to what I've been discussing with Dave? If so, what have you found to be its major weaknesses? Thanks for the list! I'll put 'em thru the old grinder for practice.. I'll look up the ROC (momentum) and play with it. Does it mainly help in explorations? Thanks again! Dale
