No WONDER it's called the Garden State; evidently the polling population has more than its share of vegetables. From CNN's website: ------------------------------ Market News:U.S. Market New Jersey Residnets[sic] Want Clinton to Stay UPI 18-SEP-98 New Jersey News in Brief (NEWARK) A Star-Ledger/Eagleton poll finds that New Jersey voters want President Clinton to remain in office even though they do NOT think he is truthful or sincere. Seventy percent say the president should NOT resign. In response to a question on what action Congress should take, 23 percent favor impeachment, 29 percent censure and 42 percent NO action. While 63 percent of those questioned say the president is doing a good or excellent job, 70 percent believe he lied under oath and just over half think his apologies are NOT sincere. ------------------------------ RS
