martin, I'm still trying to figure out if the "former employees" really are former employees. Two of the "former employees" made their first Yahoo post on LGND the same day that their profile was modified. I put such posters into my "suspicious" category. The number of "supicious" posts on the Yahoo LGND board is huge (handles that are "lost" as well as the sex=neuter crowd also are in my suspicious category as are the posters who rally to defend any or all of the above suspicious posters - look at the post rats posts last night).

Ligand is a growing company and as it matures, I'm sure that some employees will be happy, while others will not. Ligand IR has indicated (to others who have asked) that turnover was lower than the industry norm. San Diego is a very competitive place with more than its share of in fighting and back biting.

I have a call into LGND IR. I'll see if I can get more info.
