I see I made a typo in my last post.
I meant high school science labs not high science labs.

Also what I meant by break up the garnet is:
Garnet is very hard and garnets can be joined in matrix with
other materials. If the matrix is hard that is a factor in the profitability
of the garnet mine.
Garnet size is a factor too. I have heard the smallest garnets can be used for water drills. Medium ones for water treatment plants.
Sandpaper is another use.
I believe the garnet itself can be ground up as well as being broken out of the matrix.

That is all I know about garnets. I saw ring with one
in it for the first time the other day. Very nice - like a ruby
which I believe is similar. Salna (former ceo) told me the
Italian buyer wants the garnets to be used in water drills
to cut marble. I understand from Jeffrey and Doug
that the garnets are baseball size and will be used in that form.
One prospector I talked to who walked the site, said
the garnets were in many different sites.
Jeffrey indicated the garnets would be processed in the area.
Though it could be the Italian company may do further processing.
