( BTW I meant most high end CONSUMER video equipment still does not have component video inputs and outputs. Didn't mean the pro equipment you use. )

Anthony? Mr Breuer? Hope you are still out there. Hypothetically. If a magic wand was waved and you found out tomorrow that starting next year your studio had to work in nothing but the HDTV format ( won't happen but if it did) how much new equipment would your studio have to buy? If you have the time please itemize. How much roughly would it cost? Who would research the purchases...have final say? If a redesigned Ampex DCT or other AXC equipment was available, would it even be considered? Does there name still have any life in your industry? Can you extrapolate to other studios? Your time and comments would be much appreciated.
