bruce I think I can speak for bdog and I know I can speak for myself. If you have something to contribute do not consider it stepping on toes, in fact, consider it more of a pedicure. I appreciate any and all assistance with scans. Did you read the shark article? it also involves symetrical variance which, as best I can explain it, is the final bars midpoint is at or near the midpoint of the first bar. They came up with a optimal symmetrical variation of 13%. Which, as I understand it, means the midpiont of the final bar is within the middle 26% area of the first price bar.
