Typical of the idiocy of govt. What intelligent insurance company would raise insurance when constraints are lifted? Let the taxpayer insure everyone. When the S&L s were deregulated the intelligent thing to do would have been to eliminate all s&l insurance so that people before using a s&l would look carefully at its fundamentals.
