FWIW, here are some notes from another Ballard interview that occurred today with some small institutional investors. Take this with a grain of salt because I can't completely vouch for the source (and you can't complete vouch for me!), but I thought people would be interested:

Spoke with both Dave and Greg today.

Expect a series of press releases next week.

OEM's which were not considering Banshee are re-thinking their options.

There is at least (1) top name OEM already. It is not IBM. Dell has not been ruled out!!!!!

No talent has left or is expected to do so as a result of the financial performance shortfall / low stock price.

Expect the performance lead to widen in 1999.

Q3 WILL BE CASH FLOW POSITIVE!

It is possible that a few late orders will push the operating earnings into the black, but it hasn't happened yet.

Creative's $129.99 retail Banshee is very bad news for TNT and everybody else!

DIAMOND will not be as big a portion of their business going forward (thank God!)
