Time will tell if Congress will do its duty and remove this stain upon the Presidency from office.< With our Congress, duties are not fulfilled on principle. They are fulfilled on the basis of public sentiment. As it stands now, Clinton is doing just fine. >If Clinton does not resign and survives an impeachment trial, it will be a sad day in our history.< Very sad, as the Constitution will have been proven to allow flagrant and cyncical liars, cheats and lawbreakers to remain in office. >However, if he does survive we will have to live with it as most Americans IMO can accept the outcome of the process when it is carried through to its Constitutionally scripted conclusion win, lose or draw.
