Gary,
Thanks a bunch for the sites, I will review them this week end when
I have time. My intention is to catch AMAT (and other stocks)
when the market is in maximum turmoil and hopefully within 10% of
their bottom prices. My buying technique is to weigh downside risk
vs upside potential using fundamental analysis supported with
technical analysis and market/industry weakness/instability/world econmic trends. Tricky but very lucrative and less risky, IMO. My next
"major" purchases will be with the intent of longer term holds until the stocks peak again minus 5-10% at which time I will sell, though
that could be a bit of a wait. My target gains are 4x-5x (or more)
initial investment within 2-3 years (or sooner),and I can afford to wait.
Seems like I always hear from those who have invested at higher
levels that I will miss the boat, not a chance. The cards are dealt,
the players are placing their bets, and I'm the dealer. There is
one more draw, and I get "last draw" and get to see everyone elses
hand and all the wild cards before I need to bet, and I've got piles
of chips to support my hand. I will call and raise when the time is
right.

BB
