<< The damage has already been discounted>>

I think fridays (in fact most of the week)
action did not paint a true picture,
with triplewitch being the main wagger. IMHO.

Many of the second and third tier stocks I follow/trade
.
were lifeless for 2 or more days.

I think the true underlying trend
could easily resume on monday,
which IMHO, is down.

BWDIK...

Bill,

I think you're right about a good rally next week. The narrow trading range on Friday was left intact. I was hoping for a slightly lower close to give a gap up opening on Monday, but the traders started plussing the market with market on close buy orders from those who also saw that pattern. I like the pattern of the last two days with Friday's pattern putting a floor under the market for a while. Next week should be interesting.

Sorry I didn't offer a more informative comment on those two stocks, I'm not familiar with them.

Have a great weekend.

GZ

I don't know about a 3rd gapped up Monday in a row Bill, seems like a perfect day to start a major downleg to me with the internet brought to a crawl via web sites showing the whole video online:

exchange2000.com

I could see the worst online trading performance since last Oct 27/28 on this Monday if all those web sites are bombing the web with video for days. Would be a good day to delay the little guy's exit, thus making them sell a day later at lower prices, sending prices down etc.
I just don't believe the slowdown of the next few Q's is discounted in the bloated P/E's of the index supporters. Even if they could hold the prices where they are, with earnings projected to decrease the next few Q's, the P/E's will INCREASE from their historic highs as we move forward. Oh, there I go with that FA again <g>

headed for the beach,
regards,
Tom
