Couldn't agree with you more!! Low price and a back door.

Because I'm chicken and I think the market will react to Billy's video (more than Starr report, etc), am patiently waiting for Monday.

If a bad day, look for CEIN at $ 9-10 ..... too much of a temptation.

Like you said, just rumors of a buy-out will provide an escape to those who want to bail out. If CIENA produces on the "40x" -- look out -- CIENA will recover quite strongly, if not triple by Q2/98.

Ciena must act quickly to recover lost ground. They need to assure stockholders company is still viable, one way would be a stock buy back.
