It's a crossover between 1) the close and 2) the value of the high(-2) I noted H(-2) & not H(-3) after edit window time. When they devise these t. systems do they intentionally confound things?<g> Tho an MS validity check would work, I know you won't rest short of full QP trans. Noted ABTX. As for "is the whole system worth it?"... as an exercise, yes. As a core system, no. Widner's dynamic S&R system was a better effort, but even that often seems loosely correlated to the real world of equity movements. But, Go for it Brooke! You're the champ.

Brooke: Not trying to start a fight or anything. I've seen some of your scans you've written and am truly impressed and in awe. You definitely know your coding. If I get an education from this it helps me out in the long run. Please correct me if I'm wrong on the Shark scan. While I realize the buy can go to 25 days all I was trying to do was show a scan that would work (maybe) if the buy signal had to immediately follow (next day) the 3 day formation. Just trying to learn even if by mistakes. bruce
