Ever read the Red Herring?

Anyway, one of the latest issues has a one-pager on EVA and technology firms....(Scanned the article quickly last night at a friend's, but the jest was...) Before examining technology firms, the author's premise was that technology companies would not favorably stack up against other growth companies (in other industries)....

Wrong. Technology firms came out very favorably ahead. Dell was listed number two for all firms (Believe it or not, I didnt see who/where number 1 was listed)...I believe Cisco came in 4th...

BTW- What are you views of using EVA as a management/investment tool?
