Not trying to make it a "big" deal..just was looking at the implications of these online auctions... "It is up to the BUYER to pay sales tax -- now that is where the cheating is going on and has for some time, not just on eBay, but in all of mail order" I don't believe this is correct... May be for "out of state" purchases... but not for "instate" purchases... That would be like saying the Sears is not required to collect the sales tax from the purchaser..they are just doing it so the buyer doesn't have to send it in..???? do you buy antiques..etc or new stuff?
