robert, the analyst is playing a shell game. notice:

1. Worldwide DRAM revenue in 1999 is expected to jump 60% over this year.

2. So, the smaller 60% hike in 64-Mbit DRAM revenue next year still hints that average selling prices will decrease.

3. Everyone is looking at 64-Mbit devices to buoy growth-sales are expected to double next year to $14 billion.

so is it 100% growth or 60% growth for 64 mb dram?

can you say "cognitive dissodence?"

i don't think they know what thry are saying. since 60% revenue growth is not going to happen, they may be saying 60 64 mb dram revenue growth. actually, they said both and they are confused. let the hype continue.
