Okay.. I just saw Paul mentioning new stepper costs and I assume Intel would rather spend a little extra now, instead of having to buy new 248nm stuff now and new 193nm stuff in a couple of years.. (you know long-term cost saving)..

is 248nm good enough for high-volume high-yield .18 though?.. I always figured Intel would go an extra level just to ensure a high success/problem ratio.. in addition to the long term cost savings?
