Yes, that would work! However, for us frequent traders, there would need to be an unlimited number of rows allowed, and the "report" would soon become unwieldy. I recommend the addition of a "fudge" row where the value in the "current value" cell can be overridden by hand (so that a value of zero can be entered). Sales and purchases can be handled by detailed reporting in the thread archive. Brad..... realize that what I'm talking about would involve a lot of work, and might not be included in your "vision".
