Good Morning Margaret,

I certainly agree with you that it is Greenspan and Rubin who is responsible for our good economy in spite of some of the things that they could say to make the markets feel better. The Clinton mess is way out of hand and it looks like a real witch hunt, and high tech lynching. The report which will be released tomorrow morning at 9am may not sit too well with the S+P futures but all is only temporary to the long term of the stock market. Yes I think that things are looking much better for Intel and in another year we should be pleased with the stock's performance.

Hope that you had a nice weekend.

Warm Regards
Frank

Hello Margaret. I don't have to say anything about Intel and CPQ since I put this into my reply to your PM.

On all this other stuff. Right on. But pl. don't forget the Congress. They did disappoint us with no new tax cut this time around but we did get one last year, or am I dreaming? I don't think they should have caved in in the last cpl of days while on the job. Maybe this time around.

Like I said many times before. Gridlock can be good at times. gg. But I think we will get a tax cut and maybe Mr. Clinton will come out with a budget and puts his foot forward on Soc.Sec. After all, it is his administration. Let him cast the first stone when it comes to Soc.Sec. That is always a political mine field.
I would have a suggestion. Any new money coming into Soc.Sec. should not be used in the budget. Let's keep GOV hands off it. And use part of the Soc.Sec. contributions to invest in stocks. It could be done just like the GVT pension fund right now.

Anyhow, let's hope that Mr. Greenspan will give us another rate cut Nov.17th.

Have a nice Sunday

Sonny
