Cool post Max; yeah, someone ought to put that Shell announcement in a time capsule and see if anyone remembers it in three years. Or three months. I got EVI. I remember when it was in the 50s and DLJ picked it as a "depressed" stock that would soon see 85. Then it went from 51 to 15. What's the difference between an analyst at DLJ and our own David J? About $500K per year in commissions but David J makes better calls. Also got HLX, which peaked at 40, crashed to 18, then had a lot of insider buying, then took ANOTHER 50% hit. I bought in the mid-teens, then tripled up at 10. We'll be OK I think. We may not need Ciena's wave division multiplexing but we do drive. And eat. Safeway's been a good "safe" stock. Traded in and out a few times, am now out but may get back in. Have a good one.
