Oh yeah,Dell's stock has been going down since June 1988,take a look.

Go down to 'Dell's stock history', read it then check with your TA,'gut feelings' and everything else before you make any decisions. Remember you have been generously warned.

RE Basis of trades

Joe: Thanks for the compliment. Do you believe in TA,fundamentals or gut feelings as the basis of your trades.I look at all.Good luck in your trading.

TA=mumbo jumbo IMHO. If it was that easy, all the TA people here would be fabulously rich :-)

fundamentals , yes, in the long term

gut feeling, well, I try not to let it influence me, but am not always successfull at that!

FWIW, I have a gut feeling that anyone shorting Dell is not going to do well. Unless its for the very short term, in which case we are talking day-trading rather than fundamentals. Even then, the record shows that shorting Dell is like playing chicken on a major road. Lots of excitement that ends in roadkill.
I have no particular thing against shorting or shorters (and at least you were open about your agenda), but aren't there a lot 'safer' stocks to short than Dell, if you feel you must short something?

Cheers
