Well, Walter, hope for VCAR is a thinly traded commodity these
days. It just sank down down down after a seeming rebound a few
months ago.

All I can say is that I talked personally with Tim Enright (President) and
he is optimistic (guardedly) that VCAR can salvage its racing program,
plus sometime in 1999 get rolling on a "less expensive" version
of the M12 ( $ 80K ) in a joint development with a British sports car company.

Success in either of the above would move VCAR back to a strong
contender. For what I don't know, but would think at least $ 1-2
per share. TOO EARLY to get excited, but if you don't need cash
right away, HOLD VCAR for another few months and see what happens with the assembly deal ( British outfit ). Tim said it might be
12 months away before VCAR started to really hum along, and that
was 1 1/2 months ago (July-August).

I believe their next race is November ... can't recall for certain.

At least the production car is seeing redesign as a result of the
racing program, making it a better performing car. We'll take anything at this point.

Best regards - keep holding, fingers crossed !
Dan
