You are right, stochastics can stay oversold for many weeks, just as they stayed overbought for many weeks. Look at the grains, energies and currencies. They can bounce up to neutral without hardly any up-movement in the price, or they can get more oversold. I think, in the next 2 - 3 weeks, it will stay in the trading range INDU 7500-8100, and S&P 950-1050. Bollinger band is contracting and it is getting ready for another breakout. Most likely it will be a very weak upside breakout, possibly to S&P 1100 max. If upside breakout is higher than that, then it will be puts galore buying time, because the subsequent drop will be sharper and harder. IMHO, there is no question about it. BWDIK?, I have never been a bear, just a bull since 1980 and became a super bull since 1987 and never once waver, until two months ago.
