Continued. Copper/gold porphry systems in Chile are generally made up of magnetite, chalcopyrite and pyrite. All of these minerals are conductive...they are also a leading indicator to a deposit....but economics is another thing all together. Chalcopyrite (note Fe content) Appreciate this is not what a deposit is made of, or all deposits in Chile would have a "ZILLION TONNES" of copper per cubic inch web.wt.net Take a look at Pyrite content (Chalcopyrite is the header but read down....the composition is FeS2 so IRON is present galleries.com Take a look at magnetite galleries.com Conclusion We don't want iron!! and, Don't hold onto any of these rocks when they do an IP, it will be a shocking experience!!! Oh, by the way, Chief, check the last drill results released by Bema Gold-I think it showed gold down to 1000 meters-not sure if it was a economical grade or note.
