I myself would like to see independent testing, IMO, its just a matter of time before that happens. As far as testing the engine, Shelby has some of the best equipment in the industry to do this. It's ludicrous for any one to suggest that Shelby, Teagues, Allison and Lawson would put their reputations on lines, invest money and effort into a bogus engine.

Two computerized superflow dynamometers inside Shelby's 60,000 square foot
warehouse and shop are at the heart of his engine rebuilding and dyno service. Also, a
complete machine shop, airflow and head porting benches and a 1,000 square foot
"clean room" are all within the 3,500 square foot shop area to serve auto enthusiasts.
