There are some disparities between the Shark picks found with Metastock and my QP scan. The hits are accurate in most cases (such as ACL and ABDR), it seems, but not in a few (ABTC, for example). The QP2 scan seems to be finding a few more shark patterns for some reason. I hope others can give it a closer look.

There does appear to be a shark pattern with ABTC starting on 8/27/98, but for some reason, it's ruled out in the Metastock formula. So the QP scan gives a signal on 9/8, when the price closes above the high in the shark pattern, but Metastock doesn't identify the pattern.

Driving me nuts, it is.
