There was confusion on the thread about what "Windows98 Compatible" means. I was just trying to clear it up. Sorry for the misunderstanding...

I don't know where or how you've determined that cards not on MSFT's list work well in MM configurations, so I can't speak to the point of your exact question. However, it may be helpful to know that a good driver writer might add the flexibility in his code as a matter of course. However, even tho' the software apparently works in the MM configuration, there is more to a Company indicating support than just the software apparently working. Among these things are having QA sign-off and having customer support trained to support it.

Blame this one on me. I was the one who complained in Post 1352 about Microsoft not clearly explaining what compatible with Windows 98 meant.
