On a purely moral plane (which is something that Hyde and his Republicans claim to be defending, ad nauseam), Hyde comes off much worse than Clinton. While the latter had an affair with an unmarried woman, the former did it with a married woman with children.

So that leaves you with the "lying under oath" argument. Apparently, lying is OK as long as a Republican does it. Sheesh!

Btw, people are still looking for Dan Lungren in California after he ran ads saying "Character is what you do when no one is looking". Now, Lungren is an ardent devotee of Hyde. Looks like after the recent expose' of his mentor, Lungren has gone into hiding!
