Thanks. Ronn Owens of KGO has called for Clinton to quit, but his reasoning is different -- if Clinton doesn't quit, Owens says, the Religious Right will use this occasion to get back in the driver's seat.

While I agree with the latter part of his argument, I think it wouldn't matter even if Clinton resigned. I am only hoping that the Democrats show up in sufficient numbers and elect Davis, re-elect Boxer, and send a massive number of Democrats (at least 30) to the House in order to decisively shut out the right wing.

It's not only about Clinton any more. A lot more is at stake. Hopefully the voters will realize this.
