Lets see, I have been on the internet for over 8 years. I don't believe anyone here. (so not gullible) I read everything available and spent most of my days reading. Not just stock stuff. You would be surprised at the volumn of reading I have done. SI, Yahoo, etc are public forums and I know that some CEO's, etc read them but....not all. I also know that the newspapers and government agencys are here too. Millions of people are on the internet and nothing posted is private but...don't call me at home. If you have a beef with me, take it up here. With me. Not with my family. That's what I mean by what is posted here, stays here. I didn't see where Pugs has posted here to involve any family members of anyone here. Pugs has not been here publicly for some time. Remember...he got booted? BUT, and that's a big but...if I tell or say something to the board here about a family member then it's fair game for jokes, etc. If someone ELSE says anything about one of my family members...I haven't given permission and then it's not fair game and impolite to carry that forward. I am the only one who has the right to post my personal information. And I'm talking personal here, not job descriptions or workplace. AND, I expect everyone here to keep it polite and not call me at home. That's how it used to be when I started on the internet and if people stop being polite then the internet will evolve into a place where assholes reside and the average, everyday people will stop comming. Mafia type tactics is the only way I could describe calling people at home. Harassment somehow doesn't fit. Scare people away and then this won't be a pleasant place for people to meet and talk/type to eachother. Been there, done that, I have seen boards die and go away because of a few assholes. KAY? Is that clear enough for you? BTW...I am probably the most logical person you will ever meet. And common sense is something I think is lacking in your clan. Try reading something on SI besides the drinking thread and you'll find that what is said on SI has made it's way to quite a few papers and magazines. What is said on SI has also made it's way to some governmental agencies, Ceo's, company officials, MM's, brokers, borkerages, deal makers and deal breakers. Be realistic, what is said in SI is not private, this is a public forum. With that knowledge, people should IMO be thoughtful about what they divulge about themselves and who in their family they choose to expose.
