CELN update:

I here that CELN will be getting the much needed cash to start trials. Unfortunately, I don't believe that it will provide any near term relief for the shareholders.

Looks like its "the long haul or not at all..." the technology is still very promising, but I don't expect the stock to offer a real ROI for a while. I'd be a buyer in the .25 cent range and wait for big news from trials.

*AV*--Ithink the 7s are going to reflect the bottom, but you never know. As far as the consolidation of the industry. I an giving that some thought as we write. When I formulate the "battle plan" I will most gladly share it here.

But for right now, VECO, KLIC, TER, KLAC, AMAT, and NVLS are the acquirers and not the acquirees. The guys that could be scooped up would include CFMT, IPEC, SFAM, AEIS, ASMLF, BRKS, LRCX, CYMI, SMTL.

SMTL is interesting considering their lawsuit filed against NVLS. I could see AMAT going after SMTL just to screw with NVLS and create a problem. Furthermore, NVLS would have to react to this by launching a bid of its own. SMTL plays very heavily on my mind these days.
