The opposite is true. We are a nation of laws not men. We are a nation of laws not liars. The founding fathers had respect for the rule of law. Clinton has committed perjury, obstruction, etc. He has not refuted a single factual matter in the Starr report, only engaged in legal hair splitting. He is a disgrace. He should resign but I think he is so selfish and cares so little about his office or the country that an impeachment will be necessary to remove this stain from the Presidency. Hopefully, Congress will be up to the task. JLA

PS Pat Robertson hasn't got a ghost of a chance of being the nominee. JLA

Last time it was Pat Buchanan who fought such a bloody battle with Dole in the primaries that the latter was left writhing on the battle-field and Clinton finished him off with one stroke.

With the religious right sensing a chance to get back into action again here, next time it might be Pat Robertson tearing up some middle-of-the-road Republican in the primaries, and finally, Gore will finish off the victor with one stroke.

Dipy.

<<even if it means throwing out all the principles that guide how this country was set up and the due process that makes this country better than the Communists or some 3rd world dictatorship.>>

It's not principles, but the principals in this self-proclaimed "most ethical administration in history" that I want out of there -- for Whitewater, an unethical commodities trade, Filegate, Travelgate, and unethical campaign financing involving potential security risks. And also pure stupidity. This President engaged in phone sex calls over an unsecure telephone line, leaving himself open to blackmail.

The sheer blindness indicated in your posts indicates to me that you should only post under an alias. Jon Doe is a good one.(;>)
