Robert: What is your source? Also, do you have dates for the trades? I would find it quite interesting if Archibald bought after he resigned.

Robert & All: I ought to be out of touch more often!! HEH! It's good to see VLNC coming back, and in the teeth of a spreading global market malaise, too. From what I'm seeing on other points of the compass this thing called capital destruction and deflation(a euphemism for depression in my book), are turning out to be incredible brutal. And the impact looks like it will have far-reaching, long duration,, consequences. Folks, we better hope somebody can shore up Latin/South America because if those markets go.......well......let's just say our term "buckle up," in a general sense, will have more of a negative meaning than hoped, eh? Not to mention the increasing popularity being expressed by certain foreign governments to clamp down currency/other controls to staunch capital outflow. THAT certainly ain't good.

As for VLNC. It's gratifying to see all the insider buying, and is a direct reflection on the underground finally being correct with all their positive noises. One comment. The website insidertrader.com only shows, as of 09/18/98, DA having purchased 20K, not 40K. A typo? Who can say. Bottom line? I ain't quibbling.....the buying speaks VOLUMES to me, and caused me to once again move some additional monies into VLNC. I'm looking for good things between now and year-end, and GREAT things by the turn of the millenium.

John~
