I personally think the other players new to the auction market will get only those who have never heard of Ebay at the start.. but as time goes on buyers will be scanning all of the auctions to find their items of interest..so this will bring buyers and sellers to all of the auctions...and the "free" aspect will fool the new sellers..

The auction link below looks to be a well designed site..and seems to be for "antiques/collecibles" only.. which I like... Haven't looked it over totally but..I really would like an auction site which doesn't allow anything new (say.. made w/in the last 10 years)

ehammer.com

This site looks to be aligned with Amazon.com... and should partner with other big sites..
