Nobody's putting gun to the head of the TV programmers making them run this stuff. If you've got a beef about programming complain to the station. There is a real bizarre pattern here and Bateman is just an example. People are getting angry at all the wrong things. If CNN runs pornography at 8:00am why in the bloody blue blazes would anyone be mad at the Republican Party? Clinton is ensnared in a sex harassment law inspired by ludicrous radical feminist theory and they get mad at the prosecutor, not the law makers who passed the abomination, and not the feminists who nagged and nagged until they got it passed.

JULY FOURTH will be the ideal day for releasing the factual data about the US King-President. Nevertheless, I am going to throw some light arguments your way (just don't want to shortcircuit your "chips"): 1.- US Congress did not mean to release the info on Jewish New Year on purpose. The Govt. Printing Office could not come out with the printed matter before the weekend; 2.- this is just another specious argument for "stonewalling". If the US Govt. is to release information according to the holidays of every ethnic and religious group in the country, it will never be released. People like the Mormons, Sikhs, animists, atheists, Eastern Rite Orthodox Christians, zoroastrians - you name it - have their own holidays to observe and this could be construed as "discrimination". Or we can come out with a "National Information Month" and allot several billion dollars in Fed money to "celebrate" it. 3.- it is anti-Constitutional given the separation between church (religion) and state. What will ACLU say? Sue the Judiciary Committee? 4.- Monday morning, personal freedom and freedom of choice are still in effect in the country. In pursuit of happiness, one can decide to watch the video or not. Personally, I have to go to work and would prefer to watch secret videos of John Huang, Charlie Trie, Sidney Blumethal phone calls, Ron Brown meetings, etc. Release of raw NSA intercepts of the above will also be welcome.
