Earnings, to be released tentatively on Wednesday 10/28/98, per Summit I/R: To all: Another disappointment? When will we have FDA approval? How will we be able to regain a foothold in the Vision Centers? - It looks like we might start a trend upward here in anticipation of earnings and then a retracement after earnings are announced along with another lackluster conference call. (Like several quarters before). Warning to all: We may also see several posts concerning greater than expected earnings by "someone in the know", "a relative of someone in Summit's accounting department" etc. Sunchaser will be sure to short again and then tell all of us how stupid we are, I am holding on for a few more quarters before pulling the plug. It ain't over yet. P.S. I have sold covered calls on a small portion of position in BEAM, after a few unsuccessful attempts at selling them earlier this month, they were picked up immediately at the open. Something may be up
