Well, what is the " Long standing American Value" ?

What is the "Long standing American Value" in politics ? What is the " Long Standing American Values" in Private life ? Just like I said If your " Long Standing American Value" hold, then it is only Paul John Paul can fulfill your standard to be the candidate of US president, but I am afraid, he may be a good president to fit your value, but may not be a good president to handle the day to day operation of the international affairs, the economy, the social issues, ...etc. Your standard of value
is good, and high , but I am afraid it did not fit the real world at all.

The what you call "White water" case is quite different than the "Watergate" case,
"Watergate" case is a crime activity, but the "Whitewater" case is just he president's
private life, in which, the male and female like to write their love story on a voluntarious base. The maximum you can say is the president is not loyal to his wife.
But the law did not say that the president can not have a private life, or if the president is not layal to his wife, he should be fired.

Besides, I do not think the congress should have a double standard, if the rule applys to the president, it should also be applied to the congressmen, the high level managers of every corp. And in the future, anyone apply to be the candidate of US
president, he should fill a form to prove that he is following Mr. Shun's American values.

Finally, I think your value is just too high for humanbeings, but I still respect your standard of American Values.

Another thing which is very interesting is the man who had a similar love story 30 years ago will be in the position to judge the president. By judging the president, he is judging himself. It is very ironical, and funny, and this only happen in the US congress.

Dan: <<Somewhat OT>> Don't be depressed - enlightenment is sometimes painful. <vbg>

On Topic:

By the way, I agree MSFT needs to "leave it to the lawyers." Public statements by the chief often are exposed to various forms of spin, and given the short attention span of many investors, it sometimes shifts things negatively that don't get corrected when more objective analysis is brought out later.

OT: You're good at mischaracterizations.
