David, Do you have data on the DJIA back to '87? If so, the 89, 13, 2 SMI shows that the market is at a bottom. It doesn't rule out further downside but it shows any further downside will be very minimal. Full recovery is still several months away. This is why my current outlook is for sideways to up. I'll take a jump over 8100 though. It could approach 8400 by mid-October but I won't say so in public. >>gg<< Doug R
