A good point is underlined in the following story from Upside.com about encryption and security.

longer key length doesn't necessarily constitute higher security, in most cases, the algorithm used is normally the weak point. Most crypto algorithms are flawed and can be circumvented, rather than hacked by breaking the key.

Hi Chris, you wanted to know the name of the magazine that was doing a story on Jaws when I was there. It's Information Week and it should be in the Oct 7 or 14 edition.
