Chris, if you can separate the Office of the Presidency from the man's personal life, I am sure you can find many fruits, beginning with more rights for women, more rights for minoritys and a balanced budget. The USA has never been more economically stable and safe from communism than now. James, you talk of grace, yet you say more rights ,more rights....don't bend my back...by the way, what are you doing talking about politics... I thought you can not be involved in politics? God help me when I become so self important that I would try to impose my will on another who thinks that his ministry is God ordained. Do you know of any God ordained ministries?(course I know you won't answer questions.)hmmmmMy objection is that the far Christian right is co-mingling in politics. Our friend Pat Robinson, as you know, once ran for President of the U.S. This is in direct opposition, IMO, of God's desire to separate the Church from the State. I guess you are saying here, that no Christian can be involved in politics or our government.....well then no police, no postman, no street maintenance, no approved water service, no city councilmen, no mayors, cause I know Christians in every one of these fields of govt. plus many other noble govt. jobs.. Matthew 22 is self evident; "20 And he saith unto them, Whose is this image and superscription? 21 They say unto him, Caesar's. Then saith he unto them, Render therefore unto Caesar the things which are Caesar's; and unto God the things that are God's." Lets look at the whole of it, shall we? 16 And they sent out unto him their disciples with the Herodians, saying, Master, we know that thou art true, and teachest the way of God in truth, neither carest thou for any man: for thou regardest not the person of men. 17 Tell us therefore, What thinkest thou? Is it lawful to give tribute unto Caesar, or not? 18 But Jesus perceived their wickedness, and said, Why tempt ye me, ye hypocrites? 19 Show me the tribute money. And they brought unto him a penny. 20 And he saith unto them, Whose is this image and superscription? 21 They say unto him, Caesar's. Then saith he unto them, Render therefore unto Caesar the things which are Caesar's; and unto God the things that are God's. Who was "they" you reckon? Jesus knew their trickery. That was it. that was the bottom line to this. Not that you cannot mix politics with Christianity. I am beginning to wonder about you James. You talk about how GOOD Clinton has been for us, then turn and say we have to maintain seperation. SAVE GOD'S CHILDREN dan
