Divx Update:
techweb.com

And what ma - no DIVX sales?
techweb.com
"Divx players now spend most of their time gathering dust on store shelves"
This was the main reason I thought no chance - "Many other retailers, most notably Best Buy and members of the NATM Group, have declared their allegiance to DVD, primarily because picking up Divx places dollars directly into a competitor's pocket" - unless they
address this they will have no marketing channels and eventually
will be of not much use other than a big leadweight I think. Also:
techweb.com and just 2
or 3 measly players sold in one store in 3 months - big ouch!
techweb.com

Many will be asking a similar question when we start having
"free" operating systems on the next wave of information
appliances - the Wintel duopoly will weaken - heck Intel is
bickering with Microsoft these days already - drifing apart,
they won't be able to put humpty & dumpty together again since
they have to be going their different ways <g> - the world is
becoming one big open environment

And Dimage is growing again - 1.5 now - check out the "operating
system" - no Windows! <evil g> (this was actually released in a press
release last month)
