From Liberty's 10Q. Fox Sports Net -- During the second quarter of 1998, revenue more than tripled and operating expense increased by 15%. The increase in revenue was primarily due to increased distribution, improved ratings and improved original programming. -- Fox Sports Net and its national news programming Fox Sports News reached over 61 million households as of June 30, 1998 compared to 45.7 million as of June 30, 1997, which combined with rate increases, translated into a 358% increase in affiliate fees. -- The subscriber increase combined with improved ratings and programming resulted in a or 263% increase in advertising revenue.
