In order to survive, OZON will have to "initiate" something... most likely agreeing to terms to share whatever they have to offer w/ another company. As far as developing a proprietary system as you suggested to wash produce at the grocery store, unfortunately very little, if any, decontamination occurs at the retail level. Retailers demand items to be free of pathogens from suppliers... the grocery can easily trace the item back to the supplier and place the entire blame on them for providing a contaminated good. From a burden of cost aspect, the grocery store doesn't need to wash their products.
