Orbit, Many thanks for the @Home links... BTW, I paid $95 for installation and $40/month for service (Comcast Cable). Interesting. This is competitive with installation of a second phone line with ISDN service. Given that I'm in the SF Bay Area (home to @Home), I'd expect to be in a coverage area -- will resh, given the provided links. Regards, Alan

Orbit (and ChuckT), Many thanks for the update on @Home (ATHM). Checked the links and looks like they will be available through our cable operator, I will call and check tomorrow! Now I think I know what that huge fiber optic cable they strung up the road here maybe for<G>, though I live in a rural area of SE Pennsylvania, our road is good route for such things going from hither to thither. We had cable as soon as it was available in the area, many years ago, for example. I am looking forward to this!
