Any comments on the management changes at Zoran?

I saw an announcement in the San Jose Mercury news today in the "Memoranda" of the business section. A new VP of video products was named.

Regarding that portable DVD player:

Take the color screen off a camcorder, combine it with a Laptop DVD-ROM drive and add enough software to power it standalone.

Too expensive and not worth it. The japanese electronics companies have a tendency to design something and "throw it against the wall and see if it sticks (i.e. if someone buys it)".
