Oh and don't include Fosters, everyone I talked
to down there last year was NOT proud of Fosters.

Depending on which state you were in, there was a
lot of pride in the local brew, i.e. in Queensland
it was XXXX (four-X), in Victoria it was VB (Victoria
Bitter).

"In Heaven There Ain't No Beer" is a song that used to be on a jukebox in a sleeeeeeeezy all-night cafe where my band went to get breakfast after ours. Between that and "The Needle and the Damage Done" we had the ridiculous and the sublime to serenade our eggs.

Hadn't thought about it in years till I saw this thread. Cool.
