Hey Sig,
I bought my first option today. I'm so excited. (I think I told you I have options on the IRA now which has almost no money in it but did have enough for 1 contract! but not on the account I really need it.)
Anyway I chose a DELL Jan 2000 leap, strike price $60.Now correct me if I am wrong.
I just paid $16.75 for the right to buy 100 shares of DELL at $60 on or before the options expiration day in January 2000.
Am I right?
So when DELL reaches approximately $77 I have a profit, right?
