That's too bad about the Iron Man's streak ending. Say it ain't so.

BTW, did you see Big Mac's 65th and 66th home runs? (No. 66 was disallowed, wrongly IMO, judging from the replays.) Isn't it amazing what 22" biceps can do with a baseball bat? (That's bigger than my neck size!)

max90--Thanks for the alert on Ripkin--2633 straight games. An amazing record. He took himself off of the starting lineup; telling the manager "I think now is the time" or words to that effect. He was not injured. Pretty sad. But joyous in that he chose the time. Myron
